Lustrum committee
Hey everyone! Next year, SPiN turns 15 which means it’s our third Lustrum! We as the Lustrum Committee (LusCo for short, not LuCo unfortunately after much debate) will organize the Lustrum the coming study year! To make this Lustrum an amazing experience we already started the preparations this year. We think big and are going to make it awesome. Time to now introduce ourselves.
Sal
Hey! My name is Sal, 22 years of age, the fourth from the left and this year (and very, very likely next year) I will fulfil the role of chair of this wonderful committee. The best thing about the Lu(s)Co is the incredible amount of freedom (and fitting financial resources) you get to be as creative as you want. I’m only in my first year of the Dutch track of Psychology this year but I’m also a third (or fourth or something idk) year student in Business Administration which might help to organize the already unforgettable third Lustrum of SPiN.
Gwendolyn
Hey hey, I am Gwendolyn and I am in the fourth year of the English track. I have been around for quite some time now at SPiN in committees and the board and I am now very excited to be in the lustrum committee. I have the rol of vice-chair, so I have the honor of helping Sal with his tasks and organizing fun activities within the committee. Since I started at SPiN I have wanted to be part of the lustrum and now I am organizing it! The rest of the committee and I are already filled with amazing ideas so next year is going to be great! See you then! PS. If you can’t wait that long to find out the theme you can try to extract it from one of us ;).
Laura
Hey, I’m Laura and for the next two years I’ll be the promotion officer of the lustrum committee together with Djouke. I am 18 years old and a first year student. In addition to pleasant evenings with friends, I like to exercise, I like to go for a walk with my dog and on the weekend, when corona allows, I prefer to be found on the dance floor or behind the beerpong table. I hope that next year we can all dance together again and make it an unforgettable lustrum year.
Sem
Hey Hey! My name is Sem (the female variant), I am 20 years old and I am in my 1st year of Psychology. I’m always up for a nice cold beer (or other alcoholic refreshments) and a good party! That’s why I had to join the lustrum committee, since this is the biggest and most epic party committee of SPiN! Outside of my training sessions, which normally take place in the pub, I am also very creative. For example, I like to draw and from time to time I also love to paint. I like to push my limits and I don’t shy away from challenges. That’s why I’m so excited and motivated to make our 3rd lustrum the best one ever!
Djouke
Heyyy, my name is Djouke and the upcoming 2 years I will be busy with the promotion of the Lustrum. In other words, I decide over how you can win that free drink at a Lustrum event. The fun part about this commission is that there are almost no restrictions, making my task even more fun :).
Dirk
Hey! My name is Dirk and this year I’ll be the treasurer of the LusCo, after being part of the XIIIth Board last year. I’m 21 years old and currently in my third year of the English bachelor track. Originally I’m from Brabant but already live in Nijmegen for two years now and this beautiful city won’t get rid of me any time soon. In my free time I’m practicing combat sports, I’m reading a lot and I’m doing a poor effort to learn to play guitar.
Anouk
Hi! My name is Anouk, this year I’m in the board as external affairs officer and besides that I’m a member of the LusCo. The best part of the committee is that you have a lot of freedom and a lot of space to be creative and to organize fun, new stuff. We all have a lot of ideas and I can’t wait to make those ideas reality next year. We’re going to make it the best lustrum!
Esmée
Dear reader, my name is Esmée and in addition to being the internal affairs officer of the board, I will be general member in the Lusco. I really like being part of the Lusco, because this committee has a lot of freedom in organizing activities. I am 21 years old and I am in my third year of the Dutch track. I grew up in a small village in De Achterhoek, but since a few years I live in beautiful Nijmegen. In my free time I like to play tennis or go for a run.
See you next year!
