Did you know that a SPiN membership means more than just discounted books?

Your membership gives you access to all the different activities (over 60) that SPiN and its committees organise. These include events related to the study programme and professional field such as lectures, excursions, training sessions and a conference. We also organise social activities like pub crawls, galas, a student-teacher activity, sports activities, theme days and no less than eight parties a year! If you prefer activities that take you beyond the Dutch borders, we also organise three different trips: a study trip, a city trip and a skiing trip.

A SPiN membership gives you both access to and a discount on all of the above activities. All our parties are free of charge to members and you get a complimentary welcome drink. Many of the activities related to the study programme and professional field are also free for SPiN members. To get free acces, do not forget to pick up your SPiN sticker at the SPiN common  Plus a SPiN membership gets you a huge discount on all the trips and you’ll never pay too much for activities!

SPiN also has partnerships with a number of different companies that offer discounts when you present your SPiN membership sticker. For instance, you can get a 10% discount at Dekker van de Vegt and beer for €2,00 in café de Fuik. Are you looking for a part-time job, internship or volunteer work related to your studies? SPiN can help with that too. Take a look at the SPiN website under the heading ‘Job vacancies’ to find various companies offering work and looking for students. There is a variety of options including regular requests for buddies, as well as vacancies for workplace learning projects and internships. So if you’re looking for something to do alongside your studies, take a look at our website. The selection is regularly updated!

Finally, of course, there is the well-known discount on books. Starting this year, there’s a small change in the procedure: books will now be sold exclusively online. The discounts still apply, of course, and the prices have even been reduced! You need a SPiN account to buy books. So if you haven’t already done so, sign up on the website now.

Do you want to end your membership? This is possible via this link. It can take up to 14 days to get a confirmation of deregistration. When you receive the confirmation, your deregistration is completed.
Note, your deregistration is only valid at the start of the next lecture year (so starting September)!
